| | Name | Position | Email | Leah Grubb View Bio | | President | lgrubb@gwmail.gwu.edu | | Hi everyone! My name is Leah Grubb and I am the president of Sigma Kappa. I'm from Duxbury, Massachusetts and a junior in the business school here at GW. I decided to go through recruitment at the last second, and I can now say that it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Greek Life at GW is a great way to meet new people and feel like you are a part of a smaller community within GW. After joining Sigma Kappa, however, I knew I had made the choice that was right for me. My best friends are now my sisters, and I would do anything for them. It is an honor and a privilege to serve my sisters as their president. I can't wait to see what we will accomplish as a chapter in the next two years!

In my spare time, I work on Capitol Hill for my representative and I am on House Staff in the GW dorms. I love to run, read and kick-box. I never thought of myself as a sorority girl and thus never intended to go through recruitment. However, I am so happy I gave it try and found my home among the spunky girls of SK. The support within our sorority is amazing and it has truly changed my college years for the better. I look forward to meeting the class of 2010! |
