Scholarship is very important to our chapter. The Zeta chapter has the second highest GPA on campus out of forty other Greek organizations. Over twenty five girls in our chapter were on the Dean's List this past semester.
To help ease the pain of studying, Sigma Kappa hosts SK study rooms in Gelman library twice a week during the year.

- Applications will be judged on leadership and service provided to the chapter, campus, and community

- Applicants should be active, initiated, continuing members in good standing
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.00
- Demonstrated leadership role on campus (student government, chapter officer, panhellenic officer, etc.)
- Preference will be given to sophomores and juniors with at least one year’s study remaining

- Available to a member in good standing
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program in the fields of journalism or communication (print media)
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.00

- Initiated member in good financial standing
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.00
- Exemplifies the ideals and standards of Sigma Kappa
- Exhibits outstanding sisterhood
- Demonstrate leadership in the Greek system

- Applicants should be initiated, active members in good standing
- Majoring in education
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.00
- Preference will be given to juniors and seniors with at least one year’s study remaining
- Applicants will be judged on demonstrated financial need and active participation in a variety of Sigma Kappa and academic activities
